Wanted to love this one. It's thin like milk, zero white cast, and foundation sits on it fine. But my eyes. About twenty minutes after I put it on they start watering and it comes and goes for half the day, even though I stay well clear of the lids. By lunch my forehead and nose are shiny and I'm combination, not super oily. Turns out it's all chemical filters (avobenzone, octinoxate, octisalate, octocrylene), which I didn't look at before ordering. Not cheap for a 2 oz bottle either. Giving the rest to my sister

Watery and soaks in without a film, unlike mineral sunscreens they find greasy.

“It is watery like a milky toner, so it soaks in and doesn't leave a film.”

Very fluid and has never pilled for them when applied in thin layers.

“The Paula's Choice one is really fluid. Try doing a couple of thinner layers instead of everything all at once. It's never caused pilling issues for me.”

With oily skin that breaks out from most face sunscreens, the RESIST Hydrating Fluid SPF 50 is the first SPF 50 that doesn't.

“Paula’s choice is the first 50 I can apply that’s good for daily use that doesn’t break me out!!!”
positive

The RESIST Youth-Extending Fluid SPF 50 is the only sunscreen that keeps them consistent: light and no white cast.

“PC is the only one i've tried thus far that keeps me consistently using sunscreen. I like how light it is and that it doesnt leave a cast.”

Since wearing the RESIST Fluid SPF 50 daily (alongside starting retinol) they've had little white pimples everywhere.

“Does the RESIST Fluid SPF 50 break anyone else out? Ever since I started my retinol routine a month ago (same time I started finally being religious about wearing this sunscreen), I’ve been getting little white pimples everywhere!”

Older than 36 months. These may describe an earlier version.

With combo-dry skin, five minutes after applying the Youth-Extending Hydrating Fluid SPF 50 their face broke out in tiny greasy bumps.

“About 5 mins after applying my entire face had tiny oily blister like pimples everywhere so from far away it just looked bumpy and greasy”

On oily, sensitive skin, the RESIST Youth-Extending Fluid SPF 50 is perfectly transparent but its milky texture didn't work for them.

“Historically I’ve never had a good experience with milk type sunscreens and unfortunately this is not an exception.”
negativeno white cast

The RESIST Daily Hydrating Fluid SPF 50 stung on application, left their face red and blotchy, and burned their eyes.

“It stung a bit as I put it on, but I didn't think much of it. Then later in the car I saw half of my face had become red and blotchy.”
