On combination/oily skin loves Play for keeping things a little more matte; wears great under makeup.
“I'm combo/oily and honestly love Supergoop play to keep things a little more matte. Wears great under makeup too”
Play is moisturizing enough on dry skin that they skip a separate moisturizer.
“I find Supergoop’s Play to be moisturizing enough on my dry skin that I don’t need a separate moisturizer”
Bothered by the lemon scent and says it left them aluminum-foil shiny.
“not only is the lemon scent bothersome, but I am like a piece of aluminum foil, I'm full shiney!”
Favorite; works great as a makeup primer.
“This is my favorite too. It works great as a makeup primer.”
Their go-to: lotion-thick, rubs in easily, no white cast and a dewy finish.
“Play is overall my go-to because it’s thick like a lotion so I can skip moisturizer, & it provides the protection I need. Rubs in easily, no white cast at all, dries down to a nice dewy finish.”
The Play lotion always ends up making their eyes burn.
“the Play lotion always ends up making my eyes burn.”
Play did not bother their eyes and helped hide dry skin with a realistic healthy finish.
“However oddly enough the Supergoop Play did not and also helped hide my dry skin (sort of leaves a realistic healthy skin finish)”
Prefers Play: very hydrating, healthy-looking not greasy, and wears very well under makeup.

Great for sport and outdoors but rather shiny for everyday use unless worn over makeup.
“It's a great sunscreen for sport/outdoor activities. It is rather shiny for everyday purposes, but wearing makeup over it reduces the effect to ~glowy~.”
Long dry-down, slightly shiny and sticky with a citrus smell; it made them break out around the chin.
“It has a citrus-y smell that leans a bit more pine-sol than botanical. This one made me break out around my chin.”
Play is fine around the eyes but fragranced.
“I use the play its fine around eyes but has fragrance, I use the glow screen and its not that great around eyes”
Play was shiny, had a strong fragrance and was not great.
“I have tried the Play daily lotion with SPF 50 and it wasn't great. It was shiny (in kind of a "dewy" way, not a sunscreen/white cast way), had a strong fragrance”
Not sweatproof: forehead sweat takes it into their eyes and essentially maces them.
“I have Supergoop's Play sunscreen and it's definitely not sweatproof. As soon as I go outside on a hot day and I get a little forehead sweat it goes right into my eyes and essentially maces me.”
Loves Play; as a WOC it does not make them look grey.
“I am currently using the everyday play lotion spf 50 and I love it.”
Subtle scent, non-irritating, not greasy and a nice glow without the oil on very fair skin.
“The smell of sunflower is so subtle, no irritating, and it is not greasy at all. It does give a nice glow, without the oil!”
Play is more hydrating and moisturizer-like with no cast or burning.
“Play is more hydrating, moisturizer feel. Unseen feels like a primer. I get no cast or burning with either!”
