Older than 36 months. These may describe an earlier version.

On Accutane it causes them no issues and doesn't dry their skin at all, and it seems to help prevent breakouts, unlike the CeraVe foaming cleanser that burned them.

“I am now on accutane and use the la roche posay one and to my surprise I don't really have any issues and it doesn't dry out my skin at all.”

After switching from CeraVe's foaming cleanser they started purging, but they also added other products so can't tell if the cleanser is the cause.

“I recently switched from Cerave foaming cleanser for oily skin to La Roche Posay Effaclar gel for oily skin and I’m not sure if it’s La Roche or any other product is making me purge”

On oily, sensitive, acne-prone skin, the first use made their T-zone feel amazing and soft, but the outer edges of their face felt tight and taut.

“although it made my skin feel super soft at first, I felt like the perimeters of my face got tighter and it felt taut.”

For their oily, sensitive, slightly dehydrated skin it's literally amazing, their best LRP product.

“Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel** is literally amazing for me.”
positive

Even with very oily skin they found it too stripping and didn't like it.

“I didn’t like it although I have very oily skin. It was too stripping.”
negative

Even with oily skin in a very humid country, they find it very drying and dislike the smell, so they moved to LRP Toleriane.

“I have oily skin and find this cleanser is very drying. I even live in super humid country.”

It made their skin very dry, and they found the smell horrible.

“I have tried the LRP foaming gel cleanser and it made my skin so dry. And it smells so horrible.”

They found it stronger than CeraVe and too drying with the Effaclar cream, fine once paired with hydrating lotions, and would recommend it for oily skin only.

“I have tried both. LRP is definitely stronger. I have bought it with the LRP effaclar kit.”
